A fence!
Pick it up in a plastic bag and return it to the dog's owner.
There is a thought that if you put plastic drink bottles with water in them, that will stop dogs. I am not convinced.

A fence. There is no other sure fire way to stop dogs from going on your lawn.
Sorry. I sympathize and have the same issue.
You could try turning in every loose dog you see and tell your neighbors that if their dog uses your lawn as a toilet you will be calling the local animal control.
Good luck

thats not fair to the dogs....they need something to go to the bathroom on. but if the owners neglect to pick up the business, do something like this guy did:

(click that)
but if the dogs just pee on the lawn, dont do anything.

You can buy various products from a pet store. Some have a whole aisle dedicated to just this. You'd have to read the labels to find one that suits your needs best. Good luck.
