We are told in the scriptures that "Wherever two or more are gathered in my name, I am there." This is certainly an added bonus to meeting with one another. We are told to gather together and pray, sing, teach, read scripture, partake of the Lord's Supper, and to Give on the First Day of the Week. This we do each and every week as we are expected. Whatever GOD has had written in the New TEstament is to be our instructions for living. Our FATHER is an awesome GOD!! Have a great evening.

Its not that we must but when people come together and pray the prayer becomes more powerful. Instead of one person pouring out their heart to God many people can do that together. That message from that pastor is wrong on so many levels. Its sad when christians sometimes think that we are righteous and better than anyone. We are all God's children and have all sinned.

Both of those quotes sound kinda weird, and are not things that I would agree with.

I do believe that the more people who come together united for a good reason to pray is a good thing. Why wouldnt it be?

When people were sick, or in the hospital at my old church, we would have prayer and worship nights, and we would all get together to pray for them. I dont see anything wrong about that....

By Killing 'Satan' you would be doing Gods work? What about Jews? How about Hindus? Surely having Satan alive on earth is not a Good thing?

We must be together because we are one in Christ, and we are stronger together.
