My hair is very thick and naturally wavy, but I always straighten it. Get a good hair straightner with ceramic plates and a high setting. Make sure you take small sections of hair and slowly work the straightner from the root to the tip. That's all I do and it stays that way until I wash it. Unless it's really humid, then it gets poofy. To help with that I use a hairspray that is made for humidity. You can find them at any retail store.

well try a straigtener. If you have one already maybe you don't straignten it enough you should go through each section about 4 or 5 times slowly if that doesn't seem to work then maybe its time to get a new straightener the best ones are chi's there about $100 or a good cheap one is the Remington wet2straight
put the remington on a high heat setting though like 26 or 27.
If you are worried about damaging tour hair with the straightener there are several creams that protect your hair from heat damage like alberto V05 make it straight. Hope this helped.

Is your hair wavy or curly? If so, I don't know.
If it is just like mine...poofy and dry, you might try this:
Wash your hair and use a wide toothed comb. Get you some straightener. I use some by L'Oreal. Put a dab in your hands and run it through and comb it. Blow dry on low. Once it's dry, put a little more of that stuff in and use a ceramic straightener. Then, put a little more of that stuff in.
Keeps my hair straight for two days.

I would try not to take a shower the night before because it'll get crazy. If you do make sure to blow dry it and/or brush it. When you do your hair first brush it. Then use a straightener to get it straightened. To keep it straight apply Biologe smoothing shine milk from Matrix. Then, comb/brush your hair throughly. Next, apply Frizz Ease Serem from John Freida to keep your hair from frizzing. Make sure to get it underneath your hair too. Especially get the top and front of your hair because those places frizz very easily. Brush your hair again after that. Then, straighten it just a little bit more and brush it to keep it long lasting. I hope this works! GOOD LUCK!!!

Have you tried a straightening iron? Like a curling iron, but instead of a round barrel it has two flat plates. You shold be able to get one anywhere you could get a curling iron. They work for me.

I have got really curly hair and the best stuff I have found is Garnier Sleek and Shine. Somehow it locks the moisture in your hair and doesnt let anymore in. It is really good stuff and you can use it in dry and wet hair. It smells wonderful and doesnt leave your hair greasy!
