Why is a guy who is so good at work in dealing with people sucks while on a date with a girl?

I have known this guy for a couple of years. He is so wonderful in working with people and also at work.. But we went outside recently and guess what ! he was soo nervous ....... why is it like that?

At work you can be detached and casual... when someone is nervous on a date it's a sign that they actually do care about how it's going, probably a sign that he likes you. Try to put him at ease... show him if you are interested... a little touch on the arm can go a LONG way :)
