Yes, it's real. He is not a soldier. He is a Marine which isn't a soldier at all. Marines are not noted for being very smart, and this kid is now going to have some real problems. His name, and where he lives are all known. If he survives to get back to the states, you will be reading about him being taken out by someone here.

It can't be water they were after, because their is water on the ground, so they obviously have hoses, and who cares, why do you assume they're U.S soldiers? Are you racist, are you trying to find anyway to show that the U.S is bad? If you're an American, then you're truely pathetic, those men are risking their lives so you could have freedom.
I personally think that all soldiers, shouldn't care about the Iraqis, but yet they do. A United States soldier was shot, while giving out candy to Iraqi kids, if he wouldn't of done that he would still be alive today, see how much of a heart he has?
Everytime you attempt to make the allied troops in Iraq look bad, i'll give you three reasons why they aren't, what you say they are.

Those are U.N. troops I can tell by the humvee they are in. There "blue hats". Doesnt exactly compare to cutting innocent reporters heads off or declaring Jews as the "scourge of the world".

I will agree with the other people above. BS! There were puddles of water on the ground, which means it is readily available. Plus...it looked like the kids were wearing jump suits..if there is enough money for Nike jumpsuits..there is enough money for water.

Look at all the water on the ground. That water probably got there because somebody hosed down the road to prevent the dirt from being kicked up. It wasn't water they were after. It was probably free candy (or they are practicing to being suicide bombers).

THAT VIDEO IS AS OLD AS THE HILLS. THEY EVENTUALLY TOSSED THE BOTTLES TO THE KIDS. NOT VERY NICE BUT HARMLESS. DOESN'T QUITE RANK UP THERE WITH CUTTINGS PEOPLES HEADS OFF AND SHOWING THE HEAD TO THE CAMERA DOES IT? JUST ANOTHER ATTEMPT TO DISCREDIT THE EFFORTS OF OUR TROOPS. Not all troops are like that! I'm not!!! I would not do that to any child and I wouldn't accept it being done to my child. Anyways I wouldn't let my child be running around outside like that either!
