It's annoying. Your constant rudeness towards others is strange to me. You are supposed to remain silent unless your are directed by the person or God to help them or someone else. So what are you doing? Trying to press your views on others? Yes you are. Now of course you can't go saying something along the lines of: "Atheist always are rude to us so we can be rude back!!1!one!!1" Well i don't think atheist have a Bible not telling them to be rude mean and nasty now do they? No? That's what i thought.

Thank you for this soap box speach that makes no sense!

Now for my question:

What do other relgions see christanity as and what do christian see other christians as?

Just woundering. (No i can't spell)

Christianity as it is now is as faceted as Indra's net (i.e as varied as the people who practice it or claim to practice it). I don't hold Christianity, as a Buddhist, accountable for the actions of individual people. People are people first, with their psychological conditions, causes and conditions, etc. RELIGION is just the gravy in a person's life. If a person's altruistic and intelligent and wise, no matter what religion they choose and practice, they will practice it intelligently, altruistically and wise... if they're the opposite or have some psychological pathology then they will choose and practice religion according to that pathology.

Everything centers off of how well their brain functions, their psyche functions, the causes and conditions that have shaped their lives (religious upbringing if any, parents, ego, culture, etc.) and then you work outward from that "center".

I see PEOPLE this way, and religions... well they're just another thing altogether.

Ok. About being rude and nasty. Jesus, in the Bible, called the religious leaders of the day a, "generation of VIPERS!(snakes)" do you think that was rude? He said it to their face, loudly. Then, when he saw merchandizers and money changers in the temple, he sat down and made a whip and then used it to DRIVE them out of the temple. Where in the Bible does it say not to be rude and nasty? I don't remember reading it and I have read the Bible for 35 years. No problem with you using your soap box!

Christians are to stand up and defend themselves. When we defend our selves it is God's will. Do you actually believe that all the Christians are to be trampled on ? This has been going on for thousands of years. Why do you ask such annoying questions and then think that the Christians should not defend themselves or answer you back ? You are the one who is rude and annoying. Silence is Golden, so please be silent. Respect the Christians and then they will be very Respectful to you.

Atheists have the same "Scripture" as anyone else which tells them not to be rude, mean, and nasty. That is the "Scripture" of common sense! Everyone has access to the rules of morality, because they are innate in us. We did not need a Bible to tell us that killing was wrong.

I see Christianity as a valid path to God, just as other religions are. The only thing I really disapprove of within Christianity is its claim that it is the only valid path.

No. God wants us to spread the gospel, the good news that God loves us.

Matt 28:19
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit

Matt 28:20
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you . And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the days.

Spelling or not, your point came across. BUT, God teaches us to be tolerant also of others. Your reaction is not exactly what I would call tolerant. Just because someone else hasn't the dignity to respect some one else's opinion doesnt mean we must stoop to their level, does it? Ignore them. Everyone is entitles to believe how they wish, whether we agree or not. It's their loss if we go to heaven and they end up in hell. I woldn't want to be with some of these ignorant bast@rds forever anyway, would you?

I'm sorry if some Christians have been rude to you. The fact is: truth is truth regardless of what any of us believes. Truth is not relative. Jesus said He was the only way, and then proved it by His miracles and resurrection. Any belief system that contradicts this truth is, by definition, false.

"Be happy if you are insulted for being a Christian for then the glorious spirit of God will come upon you." Sometimes we must suffer because we take a stand for Christ.

I know what you are trying to say. Some people who profess to be Christian are not very nice. They are just plain cruel.

I see christians, jews, moslems, bhuddists, scientologists, catholics, all these as misinformed, misled and lacking some logical reasoning about life and nature.
