ok... so a really romantic one would be this... take her to the beach or a loke or something and have a picnic... then wait to watch the sunset and take her to your house to watch a old classic movie... something like gone with the wind but not so long... then when u take her home in the car tell her that u really liked hanging out with her and then ask her on a second date!!! that would be soooooo sweet and she would love it... trust me...

I think the first date is the MOST important, because if for some unforeseen chance that is the person you marry ,, it will be something you talk about for the rest of your life! So here goes, I think a fondue place is always a cool place, but keep in mind it's expensive and takes along time! So just in case you've never met the person, this would not be a good idea, you couldn't rush if the person was a moron! Also, a indoor picnic is always nice, or a pottery place( around here it's called fire it up). My all time favorite is tubing(it's freezing and you can always purposely fall off, for a comic relief). It would have to be at a resort or somewhere you can hook on and pull up, so you can enjoy a cup on hot chocolate in the lounge in front of the fireplace. It's us ally 15. for 3 hours and 2 bucks for a hot chocolate! Good Luck and Have fun!

I would take her to a nice dinner some where that you two both like! While during dinner you both can sit down and relax and just talk and get to know each other better! That is what i would enjoy for a first date, so i could learn more about the person i am at dinner with and see if there would be any of the same interests, hobbies, etc, during the conversations! Good luck and have fun!

Take her to a book store with a cafe. You all could have some coffee and get to know each other than walk around the book store and she will automatically go to the books of her intrest so you can get to know what she likes with out even asking her, then on the next date you could relate it to something she showed intrest in the first date at the book store. Then dinner and call it a night, don't want to seem too egar!

A play in an off beat theatre with dinner afterward. That way, if all else fails, you'll get some good entertainment and will have the play as somthing you can talk about over dinner. Also, plays allow you to talk a bit during it (compared to a movie) and there is usually an intermission.

Don't go to a movie, that's an excuse to sit next to each other and not talk, not good for breaking the ice.
Do something where you have to interact more, like bowling, (it can be fun!) or ice skating, walking in the park, cooking a meal together.
Visit an art exhibit or tourist attraction.
Be yourself, and have fun!

You can't go wrong with a walk in the park. It's a really good way to get to know your date and it says that you want to spend time with her as a person. If the weather is freezing, take her out to a nice private restaurant. Hold a really nice conversation and make sure that you have a nice private booth. Happy hunting!

Never a movie, never anywhere you have to drive a distance together. I would recommend just taking her to a moderately priced restaurant and then take her home after talking and eating, yo don't want to make things awkward by making a Long night out of something that's just not working.

Take them to a peaceful place and have a picnic. Next watch the sunset together. After it is dark gaze at the stars. Very pleasing and romantic.

Bowling is a fun thing to do. You get to be active and there's usually a jukebox in the bowling alley so you can find out what types of music you both like.
