If you were part of the army, there is no draft, you go were they tell you to with out the option of choosing to go. The draft pulls civilians out of their daily life and sends them to whichever service branch the government wishes and you still have no option but to serve, unless you want to be a pacifist traitor and run off to canada like a flamer.

If you were in the military, say the Reserves like I was, and the President called my unit up, of course I'd go. I raised my hand, swore an oath and LOOKED AT THE BIG PRINT when I joined.
This is a volunteer military now. You join, you are a soldier.

If I was part of the army, then yes I would go if I was drafted because it is an offense if I wouldn't go and I would conseder it my duty anyway. But I am not part of the army, I wouldn't do any good for them anyway, because all that would scare me shitless!

Well, when you're in the Army, you don't have the option of accepting or declining a deployment. And if there was a draft, you wouldn't have the option of accepting or declining that either.
