God or son of God. They also differ whether justification (salvation) is complete only through faith in Jesus or through faith in Jesus and good works by a Christian. Note the word "complete". Can you now agree on one in each case!

The problem with many Christians is that they are not taught the fundamentals of the faith. Churches are afraid to be labeled "fundamentalist" if they do teach them.

So, what happens instead is "fluffy" feel-good ministry that tells everyone "Isn't God lucky to have saints like us?"

Honest, forthright Christian discipleship is no longer the norm, but the exception. This is completely in agreement with what Jesus Himself asked, "But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?" (Luke 18:8b)

Jesus is both God and the Son of God. We see that He is the Son of God in Matthew 4, 8, 14, 26, and 27 (and so many others, I don't want to bore you with).

Jesus also said of Himself that He was God. He applied the name of God, "I AM," to Himself in several passages. Here's a few examples: Matthew 14:27, Mark 6:50, Mark 13:6, Luke 21:8, John 4:26, John 6:20, John 8:24, 28, 58, and John 13:19. There are several others I have not listed.

As to salvation, the Scripture is clear. "For by such grace you have been saved through faith. This does not come from you; it is the gift of God and not the result of works, lest anyone boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

The next part tells us the role of good works in our salvation: "For we are his masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus for good works that God prepared long ago to be our way of life." (Ephesians 8:10)

James also tells us that faith without works is dead. Therefore our works are the evidence of our salvation, not the cause.

Jesus was both. God is a Trinity, that's why.
A person may claim to have faith in Jesus, if they do truly, then good works WILL ONLY BE A RESULT. We are not saved by good works, but we certainly will not be saved without them.

Good, well pointed out question. Too bad your responses so far have been crappy. I certainly have read the bible, and it says clearly that Jesus is God's Son. Yet some claim that Jesus is God, and there is one god. Then there are the catholics that pray to all of these saints and appear to worship Mary, who is clearly per the bible not any sort of god. Neither are the saints, most of who bought their sainthood before they died.

extremely, maximum Christians believe that Jesus became God, it is definately no longer 0.5/0.5. There are only some denominations that deny the divinity of Jesus, and those are extremely no longer many times seen Christian through maximum Christians. even in the experience that they could evaluate themselves Christians, they are not preparation the Christian dogma, it is that Jesus became God in human kind.

If one reads and studies the scriptures without any predjudicial thoughts they are quite capable of finding the truth in it. To become a real Christian, we are told that we must HEAR the WORD in John 6:45, Jesus said, “It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” We are also told so in Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We are told the we must BELIEVE in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We are also told so in Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” and in John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. We are told that we must REPENT (or turn from sin) in Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Also in Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST in Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We are also told in 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. We are to be BAPTIZED according to Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. We are to CONTINUE to be FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH according to Revelation 2:10c Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. We also know that Paul wrote in Romans 14:12 each of us shall give account of himself to God. It is important that we not ignore what is written, change what is written, or add to what is written in the New Testament which is our Christian Guide. Have a great day!
