Well if someone is on fire, you pour water over them. So why won't lighting them on fire to extinguish the water help?

You would think so, but not unless you can get the torch in the lungs. Drowning is more of a term referring to water having been asphyxiated.

b/c dumb *** if there drowning then its not gonna help them if u put them on fire cuz then there gonna be concerned about moving around so the fire will go away and there already trying to get out of the waterso they dont drown gosh wtf i wrong with u lol j/k
