he said he only likes me as a friend but by the way he acts i think it is more he is really nice and caring and he allways makes me feel happy when im having a bad day

I think he already answered your question - he only likes you as a friend. Don't waste you time trying to make him love you. Somewhere out there, there's a guy who will fall madly in love with you. Just be patient and don't waste your time on Mr. Wrongs.

you can go slowly and see how things work out
If your really great friends that's the best kind of friend to have as a boyfriend. Best Friends is the way that a couple should always be and that's a great way to start don't you think?
I do believe that there is a possibility why rush it if you spend time with each other right now go slow and if it is to happen it will happen.

He said he likes you as a friend because he's not ready for a real relationship, even if he does like you. Give it time and he may be courageous enough to start going out.

umm get closer to him like you would with a fish.
find a WORM...something he likes...hook it so he can't escape and throw the line out to him in the water so he'll see the worm...obviousley bite...then SLOWLY pull the strin closerrr...and cccloserrr to you.
THEN get him out of the water and BANG him on the head with a stone. Now you can cut the insides open.
GET IT!!???
just be there be likeable stick around be fun...and draw urself closer and closer to him. until you have him. then make it official....

Well, it depends on what you want. If you want him as a long-term friend, don't push the issue just wait it out. Valentines day is coming up. See how he handles it maybe he is just to embarassed to say he likes you. Good luck!
