for us to be just a little speck among millions of other specks that are all just in this galaxy alone, among millions of other galaxies in a giant universe, I would almost find it impossible for there not to be life on other planets. I mean, all it takes is the right environment to have life, and I'm sure there is other galaxies just like ours.

I've noticed that people who believe in the Bible God of Christianity, for example, believe that this is the only life they've ever lived and the only life they WILL ever live. They do NOT believe in reincarnation, past lives or any future life other than in heaven or hell.

These very same people also believe, for the most part, that there is no other life on any other planet except the earth, because, if there was, the Bible would say so.

I don't think you have to be a non-beliver to believe in life on other planets, but I do believe there is life out there. How is it possible that out of all the solar systems and all the planets we are the only one that has life on it. I'm not saying little green men came and visited us, but think about it, it just doesn't make sence. And so what if there is does that mean God loves you any less?

I do, don't know if we'll ever really know if it does or not, but certainly since there are millions of star systems just in our galaxy, and there are perhaps millions of galaxies, the odds are quite good for other life to have developed. I'd expect "non-believers" as you put it, and I assume you mean those that don't believe in your god, are much more likely to believe in life on other planets than those who are "believers".

Define "non-believer". Do you mean someone that does not believe in God, or just someone that does not believe in God the way that you do?

I believe in a higher-power... and yes, I believe that there definitely could be life on other planets in the universe.

Its more likely than a god. If life appeared here, theres no reason not to believe that life hasn't appeared on one of the other trillions upon trillions of planets in the galaxy, much less the universe.

Most do, our universe has been expanding faster than the speed of light for long enough to make it for all logical purposes infinite. Life does not happen by chance, but it is something that is bound to happen when the right conditions in the universe are met.

The probability that life exists on other planets is great, given the number of planets and the fact that we inhabit one of them.

Under the right set of circumstances, this is a possibilty, because it's scientifically viable. Life on other planets has nothing to do with god or metaphysics.

I believe that it's highly likely given the number of stars and the fact that we exist. I don't know with 100% certainty but I'd say I'm up around 99.9% sure.
