Dinosours were on earth a long time ago right? Adam and Eve were the first humans on earth. If humans were not alive when Dinosours were around then is there a god? Because in the Adam and Eve story it says that they were the first humans right? And they had children. But when god made Adam and Eve didn;t he just make the earth and land too? If so then how could dinosours have been here long before humans? Could someone explain this to me?

well, this answer is gonna be as long as hell, but, ok. it starts out like this, adam and eve were the first humans, it has been noted by many rabbis and people studying the bible that genises 1- 11 did not need to be in the bible, i tis basically a prologue. Also it says in the bible that dinosaurs were on the earth and like many times that were uncountable, god destroyed the earth along with the dinosaurs, it refers to them as giant lizards[ not coincedence). basicaly the story of adam and eve is just the replenishing of the earth and the creation of day aand night and all that. so the dinosaurs were there before them, the bible just doesnt go into detail because it really doesnt ned to.

I believe that 1500 years ago when the Bible was being written, that the story of creation as read in the Bible was to best way of explaining the process of evolution, among humans at that time. Considering that most record were kept by word of mouth. (The earliest written language occurred around 3500-4000B.C. Adam & Eve and their offspring would have occurred much, much earlier). In the Genesis creation story evolution takes place over 7 days. If God, didn't use evolution as his means of creation why didn't he create the earth in one day? If God created “everything” did he not create science?
If you see in the story of creation animals were created first before man was created on the 6th day! If each of those days were representative of a period of hundreds of thousands of years or even millions, several changes would have been able to occur in each of those days. Giving ample time for the dinosaurs to die out before the fall of man, which is when I believe humans became aware of themselves, separating us from the animal world, where we can see & have "Knowledge of Good & Evil". (Whereas animals have no knowledge of good & evil.) I hope this at least make a little sense. I am a Christian that believes in science & evolution; I actually see that of proof of God, not the other way around…

See also Job chapters 40 & 41, there may have been some dinosaurs around during the time of man. Also you need mud & water to fossilize things, we find dinosaur fossils all around our planet. So could the Great Flood of Noah have wiped out what was left of the dinosaurs, and fossilized them for us to find later?

My dear,Dinos never existed,that mumbo jumbo theory was cooked up by those monkey loving crazy scientist who hates God and will make up anything and exaggerate things just to denounce God and all that God has done and those big giant dinos that you have heard about were never really that big at all,
How can a very small lizard or a crocidile be a giant and then all of the sudden they were all,every last one of them were wiped off the face of the Earth and only plants,other animals and humans remained?
If something wiped out all of the Dinosaurs then it would have wiped out everything else as well.

Dinosaurs were here long before humans were. The bible says that God created the heavens and the earth, he did not say when he created them. Think about this. Fossil fuel. God gave man dominion over all the beast, man could not have dominion over a creature that is as tall as a 50 foot house. He destroyed them before he put man on this earth. Man has only been on earth for less than 7000 yrs. god created the earth in 6000 yrs and rested in the 7000th yr. You must read and pray for understanding.
Man is only supposed to walk the earth for 7000yrs and than Jesus will come and rain for the 7000th yr. Than The Kingdom of God the father will be set up on earth. Death and hell will be thrown in the lake of fire. No more death. Better get started reading.

read genesis 1 .... In the beginning God created the heavens and earth .... thats not the 7 day creation .... then, and the earth was void and darkness was on the face of the deep ... sounds like a cataclysm of some sort had just happened ...THEN the 7 day creation is talked about ... anything and any amount of time could have passed before the 7 day creation the way its worded .. there could have even been a previous creation on earth ... who knows ... the bible doesnt talk of it, it doesnt relate to us ...

The bible cannot be used to refute scientific evidence. It would be as if I used the Lord of the Rings books to prove that hobbits existed. Scientific evidence shows that dinosaurs and humans did NOT live together, are separated by millions of years, and no book of fiction without any evidence to back it up will change these facts.

Well I'm quite sure someone who really has faith could find an explication to this contradiction. They always find explanation to about any contradiction reality might pose the bible stories(that's why the still believe in the book).
Even I could invent a story. Lets say: God made the dinosaurs. Then one of theses day he thought to himself: "theses dinosaurs aren't really nice" so he decided to kill all of them. Afterwards he decided to create Adam and Eve...

Well I don't know if anyone would believe in that little story I have just invented...

The bible and science are at odds in several ways, this is just the tip of the iceburg. If you *really* want to believe in the bible, either accept that the story is an allegory, or try and imagine that, since Adam and Eve were immortal before god kicked them out of the garden, that the dinosaurs lived their millions of years and died out before Eve passed the fruit to Adam.

Simple: the Bible is MADE UP fictional stories that are created to 1. explain things people did not understand and 2. control people through fear and intimidation...your Biblical knowledege is almost as bad as your scientific knowledge...Adam was made first...Eve came later from his rib (HA!) the Earth and everything on it already existed...now, to come back to reality...we KNOW through scientific EVIDENCE that the Earth is BILLIONS of years old...dinosaurs lived milliions of years ago...Neanderthals appeared 350-400 THOUSAND years ago...modern humans, as we would consider them, appeared 25 thousand years ago...so through simple MATH it is easy to see how dinosaurs existed on Earth long before humans...the problem is you are trying to mix science (fact) with religion (fiction)...

I do not know exactly what your driving st, but Dinosaurs were here before adam and eve. Are you saying God is capable of creating non-carnal things like the universe but not dinosaurs? he wiped them out because of the light bulb that he had to create something intelectual and creative, like himself. hence, adam and eve.
