I can get every other b*stard channel but the one I want to watch keeps on for 2 secs, then goes black, then comes back. Any suggestions? Serious answers only please!

During the daytime some boxes do this when it's off air, play CBBC channel or cbeebees. Although then BBC4 should be doing the same... So, not sure!

Had similar problems myself.

As I do not know what type of box you have, can only offer a general answer, but hope it helps.

Shut down your box, and unplug from power for about twenty minutes, then re -connect, and follow menu settings to re-establish your favourite channels.

This may solve your problem, but no guarantees. However, it may be worth noting, that sometimes certain channels go off for no apparent reason, and come back some time later.
If you continue to experience problems, get in touch with your set top box supplier, and explain what is happening.

Hope this helps.

You may just be in a poor signal area for that channel. I recommend just trying to search for the channels again - like you will have when you first got the Freeview box. Otherwise, like I did, you could get an arial booster - though if you have all the other channels this makes me think it may not be to do with signal.

Do you have a wide band aerial fitted. ?.Some digital channels cannot be picked up without one.Don't be fooled by thinking that you only need a strong signal to pick up all the signals , some analogue aerials have "blind"spots and are not able to get certain stations. Are you in an official freeview reception area?.

Sorry chick. If that's without caution stopped might want to easily be a fault contained in the signal or container, yet in case you've merely were given one and it would not artwork, then perhaps you should've checked to work out if there is a demonstration variety on your area, my mum had to have a particular aerial put in only to get free view, cost her ninety 5 quid!!
