If George Bush is a child of God (and I don't know that), the God approves of him in the same way that I approve of all of my children, no matter what they do. The Bible tells me that I am "accepted in the beloved" (in Ephesians chapter 1).
However I definitely don't believe God approves of George W. lying to the people, and using hypocritical reasons for sending people to war in Iraq for nothing.
Neither do I believe He approves the actions of those who helped him steal the first election in Florida, whether it was his doing, his brother's doing, or someone else.
God does not approve of lying, murder, fraud or hypocrisy.
He does love his children who do some of those things.

Satan is in control of all the powers over the earth, and my approval or disapproval means nothing. But I see and understand God's word is that he does what the powers that be ordained him to do just as the leader in Jesus said to the man trying to tell him he had power over Jesus life weather he lived or died. Jesus reply was he did not have power but the ones that were seeking to kill him had the greater judgment coming. Bush to me is no different than the Queen of England, neither of them have any power other than what Satan gives them. But we are in the process of electing a woman president and all of this hatred of Bush is leading up to preparing us to get a woman president. There is no good man or woman in politics that has the money to run for president. These things are decided by higher powers than most people can imagine. Our money leaders are the ones that decide our president not the American public, the media does influence much greater than people know because so many people like to be right and not wrong. So the people that spend the most money wisely become our leaders. My personal opionion is Bush is not very smart man and he only does what his aids tell him between golf games. Just like the Queen of England does nothing also, Bush is about the same.

No, I don't think that God would. Why? Because Bush does everything that God is against, About the only thing that would get Gods attention on Bush is if Bush gave his millions to charity and then started to live like a common man.
You want to know the kicker? I am Wiccan!!

I cannot know the mind of God, but I don't think so. I think that God can not approve of a man who corrupts his nation. God would not approve of a man who lied to get into office. God can not approve of a man who murders thousands of innocent people in a country that has never killed one American - until now. I cannot think that God would approve of what is going on in his name. No God would not approve of George Bush, nor his corruption, nor his lies. God Help Us All.

Christians believe that God spoke to Moses through a burning bush. The trouble is that GW isn't flaming. He sometimes does get fired up. Fire is a word more commonly associated with the VP and also "DUCK".

I don't know why I clicked onto this question. I should have known better. I'm not trying to be flip but every time I see his name (not God) but the other name, I actually get ill. Like I want to throw up. As for your question. HELL TO THE NO! God doesn't like Bush! It's just not his time yet! Don't worry, it's coming!

If approval means that God likes everything GWB does, the answer is of course not. But, neither does God approve of everything you or I do. If you mean certain policies, then you are getting into grey areas that are hard to understand and interpret if you are not in his situation and in his position.
God has given us instructions on how we are to treat those who are in authority, Romans 13:1-2 tells us very clearly: "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil."
Also, govenrning authorities are allowed to use their influence to punish evil doers: But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil." Hope this helps.

How could God approve of a man who creates mindless, retaliatory wars, turns his back on everyone in need, does not uphold oaths he took holding his hand on a Bible, and does everything for his own power, (imagined) prestige and financial gain? If that's worthy of God's approval we are all doomed.

Absolutely not.
He ignores the environment with no regard to the future of the planet. He launches wars in which many people die without cause or justification. He uses his name (God's) in order to win approval and votes. And finally, he lies.
