if you wanted to make your own public transportation what would it be , how would you design it and why?

if we can forget about the old bulky amtrak, slow buses commuite trains, subway and delay flights what would you do to imporve better public transportation espeically with high speed rail bullet trains, faster jets like concorde jets, it can be funny or serious transportation design this just for fun!!!

First, any public transportation system should be nearly as convenient as your own transportation. And it should be less expensive. Most importantly, it ought to be self sustaining, and not require tax payer support or subsidies beyond small business loans.
