The Torah (the first five books of the Hebrew Bible) is the primary classical source for Jewish views on homosexuality. It states that: "[A man] shall not lie with another man as [he would] with a woman, it is an abomination." (Leviticus 18:22).

The term to'eva is usually translated as "abomination" and is used in the Bible to refer to a variety of forbidden acts including incest, idolatry, eating unclean animals, and economic injustice. In the context of sexual prohibitions, the word is also interpreted by the Talmud to be a contraction of the words to'eh ata vah, meaning "You deviate from what is natural."

Yes. Several times. Probably the most popular is in the book of Leviticus 18:22
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such a thing is an abomination"

Its cut and dry. No two ways to interpret that. Homosexuality is a sin. But like all sins, a person can be forgiven.

It may not be mentioned in a way that comforts those that desire "However" it's plain and simple in the book of Genesis 2:18-24

Then the Lord God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.

So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up it's place with flesh. And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man. Then the man said,

"This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, (Please note: he doesn't say man) because she was taken out of Man"

Then God said to the woman in verse 16 Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you. Note again: It doesn't say your desire should be for women.

Now through-out the book of Genesis you will read that then much sin came about, and God was angered by the unrighteousness. In The New Testament the wrath of God was on unrighteousness.Read Romans 1:18-32.

I wonder were it reads in the Bible stating homosexuality not being a sin? I can't find it?

Jesus doesn't mention homosexuality at all. I think in the old testament it's mentioned, but very ambiguously. For example, a man should not lay with a man... what does that mean? Couldn't it, perhaps, mean that in order to have children, men shouldn't sleep with men? Couldn't it be a lesson? Like... men getting it on with men results in no kiddos? Not that all homos are going to hell? I mean, I hate all those bible thumpers going around banishing everyone to hell... get over it... you don't even know what you're talking about.

NO outside sexual immorality in the New Testament. Romans 1 speaks of all sin not just sexual immorality. In 1 Corithians 6:9-10: "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

"effeminate"having feminine qualities untypical of a man : not manly in appearance or manner

homosexuals, variously described as:

"men who practice homosexuality," (ESV);
"those who participate in homosexuality," (Amplified);
"abusers of themselves with men," (KJV);
"practicing homosexuals," (NAB);
"homosexuals," (NASB, CSB, NKJ, The Great Book: The New Testament in Plain English);
"homosexual perversion," (NEB);
"homosexual offenders," (NIV);
"liers with mankind," (Rhiems); and
"homosexual perverts." (TEV)

The list of Bibles here .. outside the KJV ... were written from the KJV of scripture years later. For example the NIV... whoever came up with this one left out 300 passages from the KJV... why? Did those 300 passages point to a sin(s) they are doing?

No where in scripture is the word homosexual. Sexual immorality covers every area of the word from masturbating to adultery, sodomy with man/woman; man/man; child porn to bestiality behavior.

When a Christian speaks of homosexual acts being the worse of all, they better dig deeper and see that it is all equal in the Father's eyes.

God is not the one that labels which sin is greater than the other... only man has done this to justify their own sinful nature not being so bad.

There is nothing in the Bible that clearly refers to homosexuality as we call it today, all assumed references to it in the Bible are quite unclear, we really don't know what they are referring to.

mmm...there is a story about Sodom and Gomorrah in the Bible - Exodus, but I do not believe that it out right condemns homosexuality there. I think that most of that is Paul's doing, later on.

yes read the book of leviticus in the bible ok. its also the destruction of sodom and gamorah to ok. jesus told abraham if he could find ten righteous people he wouldnt destroy the citys sodom and gomorah but abraham couldnt find ten righteous people he only found a couple so god destroyed them two citys cause of all the sin in the citys ok jesus doesnt like a man laying with a man or a women with a women ok he also said adam and eve not adam and steve ok but adam and eve.
