She is an 8 month old, black lab. She's super sweet. We can't pick her up from the shelter until Friday, so we are killing time trying to think of names. As many as you can think of, we need all of the ideas we can get.

"Bad Dog" because this is what you'll be saying most of the time till that puppy grows up and stops chewing things up and using your carpet for it's personal toilet!!

I think you should name her Brooke. We had a black lab that was so sweet and gentle. She used to love to go play in the water, even in the winter. We had to put her to sleep when she was 7 months old, she had a disease that she inherited from her parents. We spent over $1000 trying to cure her. I still miss her, but her name was Brooke. Good luck with the puppy!

That's great that you want to get a puppy. Before you go and choose a name, talk to the shelter's director or caretaker about the dog's personality. After you figure that out, the name you choose will best suit her.
But if you want plain names, I like:
