I see no contradiction, anger and love are emotions, these guys you refer to lack inhibitions and seem to feel emotions strongly. However I would not say all Arab men are like this, I know several shy ones. However the warmer teh climate people are brought up in the more the life is conducted outside and usually the more sociable life tends to be. This usually encourages a demonstration of strong emotions rather than in northern climates where restraint is taught to children who have to live inside and in close proximity to the parents usually inside.
