awwww... that is so cute. Nursing off some object is very normal for kittens - it helps them recapture those feelings of comfort and security they used to get when nursing at their momma's belly. Sooner or later, the male kitten that the other 2 are nursing on will object and wallop the other 2 away. Don't worry, the kittens will stop as they mature. :)

That is weird you asked that! My one kitten (found him in a garbage can) nurses off any other cat that will let him nurse! I have all males, they are good sports about it! I don't see the harm in it, but im not a professional. My garbage boy nurses off my older male Moo Cow cat. The little one gets 'tired eyes' (is what I call it) goes to Moo Cow and nurses then falls asleep!

you probably took them away from their mother too early. there isn't much you can do about it. they will eventually stop on their own..it's nothing to worry about...kittens do it all the time. I have 3 kittens as well, and i've had them try to nurse on me! lol they would root around in my hair looking for a nipple. it was so cute. anyway, like I said they will grow out of it and realize they aren't going to get anything from their brother except love bites. :p don't you just love em'?

Hello.... I have a very similar problem with one of my cats.... he loves to nurse on his tail but only at certain times of the day. I really try to discourage this because I am worried he could try to nurse on something dangerous and swallow it (and then get some sort of blockage) When my cat Thor tries to nurse I encourage him to play to distract him... it usually works ,,, then he gets tired and falls asleep. I have read that some cats do this when they are bored, I have also read that the Bitter Apple spray at the pet store works well to deter cats from biting or sucking on objects.
Hope you find an answer.....

Thats perfectly normal thought. My cat is now 3 years old and it still tries to nurse on blankets. Its odd yeah but I think its a part or life.

Don't worry about it. Just laugh and enjoy their silly kitten antics! Kittens love to rough house and play, I'm sure he'll be getting his sisters back for their attacks soon.

My 5 month old kitten tries to nurse off my finger and my husband's ear when she is very sleepy. She just started doing this. We don't know why. We like to think she feels close to us now. I don't know what to say, but if you get any ideas, please let me know. His ear hurts.
