My wedding is in September and we finally decided last minute that we are gonna have this wedding. Problem: I need a banquet hall or some facility. Im on a budget tho. I am European but Im only having 300 guests. It kinda has to be in Chicago or in the NW suburbs. Des Plaines, Shaumburg, Bartlett, Addison ect. The reason for this is that Im having my family come down from Wisconsin but we live in Chicago so Id like to have it a little more north if anything but not far from us. Of course it has to be kinda pretty and I do need to provide my own (European) band. If it provides a cake then thats fine. For 300 ppl or more. It can be a hall or even some place clever but within a good price. Well Im prolly askin for too much but thats cuz I have no idea what to do for this wedding. I need help for everything. LOL : )

Hum.... I'm having mine at michelle's ballroom. The prices vary depending on the day of the week from about $800-2500. It is on the northside of Chicago. It's really nice in there. The good thing is that you can have your own caterer. so if your looking to have ethnic food, such as myself, you can't go wrong. You also provide your own liquor, which works out great for us. We were told it can hold upto 250 guest. But check it out. www.michellesballroom.com. Hope this helps. The other thing that I can think of is the Chicago Park District. The down side to them is that you have to go to their caterer, which is very pricy.
