Like the other person said, she's most likely mixed with Siberian Husky and German Shepard. She's built like a Shepard body wise but her eyes, nose and coloring have Siberian all over em. I would dump the specialist and read up on those two breeds to get a better understanding of her behavior. It would save you some money.

I think she definitely has some husky in her. Other than that, it's probably anyone's guess! Also, you should find a behaviorist that knows what he's talking about. Why would you need to know the dog's breed to work on behavior issues? That makes no logical sense.

I'm going to say German Shepherd/Husky with perhaps a bit of chocolate lab in her? The colorings tell me that there's lab in there, but her stance and her build show me the shepherd/husky mix. I'd say all three. If not lab then chow, but probably lab with as sleek as her coat is.

I used to work at a humane society where we would have to guess on mixed dog quite often. I would say differently Aussie and maybe even German Shepard too. Either way your looking at some sort of Shepard.

Your specialist is full of rubbish. The mix doesnt matter at all. She does look like some sort of husky mix though.

she looks like a mix of husky and shepherd (german or australian). If she IS part husky though, thats probably your problem. I had one and she was so much trouble (CRAZY DOG) I got rid of her and got a rottweiler. A HUGE difference, the rottie is awesome.

Wow, she's got Siberian Husky in her, no doubt!
I hate to say this, but if the behaviorist doesn't know her dog breeds, how can she help yours?

I feel the same way as SC about your behaviorist, but I think that your dog is probably a german sheperd mix.
