You mean that if one reads Dianetics, suddenly and without control, they possess some kind of mental illness as a result of reading Dianetics (or any book like that)? Nope, that too simple and hokus-pokus, doesn't happen that way.
"Crazy" is a vague word, and it's not even a good description of mental illness. Mental illnes is an ILLNESS, not a moral depravity or character flaw.
What exactly do you mean to ask?

While I have not heard of anyone reading Dianetics books and going crazy, I have heard of people who have gone crazy after having read books of various descriptions. Does this mean that reading the books caused them to go crazy? I think not. That is an example of the formal logical error known as "post hoc, ergo propter hoc," or "after this, therefore because of this."
Imagine a man with a heart condition reads "A Tale Of Two Cities" and shortly afterwards dies of heart failure. It would not be reasonable to blame the man's death on Charles Dickens, would it?

I don't know if that is true or not so I can't comment on that. I do know that the person who wrote Dianetics was one of the founders of the Church of Scientology. No I have not read one book on Dianetics

I have never heard of a person reading a book and going crazy. If anyone had that weak of a mind they wouldn't be able to read the book anyway.

specific, by utilising Rex Weyler (1984) founding father of GREENPEACE in Vancouver BC. The e book is approximately non secular traditions. in case you have ever lived on my own interior the forrest, or been with somebody else on my own interior the desert, then you definately can sense the spirituality that exists, or co exists with guy, nature, atmosphere and a non violent tranquility. Oh so non violent that's, no longer a valid different than the birds and animals, no motor vehicle horns, television or radio. you could try it for a weekend or week.

I wouldn't doubt it. I wouldn't go anywhere near Scientology if I were you. I dabbled in it for a while; first you take a personality test and bring it into their church, where a counselor talks to you. Then you start taking their little "classes" where you use props to represent people and situations, and try to resolve your problems that way. Further classes cost hundreds of dollars. Then you go to the "worship" service, where you babble incoherently and use repetitive words and phrases over and over again until you almost pass out from hypoxia. Then they tell you that it's those bad things (can't remember what they call them) leaving your body. After that I left and never went back.

I would say that anyone who would believe anything in that book, or their fake "stress tests," would be crazy, yes.
Of course I have never read one. I have seen the results.

Scientology is the devil's religion. Just look at Tom Cruise and what a mess he is.
