Well I have a friend who says life is short, we have only one life, im going to live it to the fullest, but in that way she means like messing around with a lot of men and not settling down, abusing drugs and alcohol stuff like that can someone tell me what you would say to this person, or do you have a bible passage about living your life right down here so you can make it up there?

It sounds like she doesn't believe that she will have eternal life, or that it doesn't exist, so what would be the point of her becoming a Christian? Satan loves to fill people's heads with lies that "this is the only life you get, better live it hard and fast", when in fact she's flushing her life down the toilet. Her sins separate her from God. The only one who can rejoin her to God is Jesus Christ. He has paid the penalty for all her sins of adultery and poisoning her body. She only needs to accept it, and give all her troubles up to Christ. She needs to ask Him to forgive her, which He will, and she needs to forgive herself. There is a lot more going on behind her "live it to the fullest" credo, and it probably has something to do with her father. She needs to forgive him, too.

Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth and the LIFE; no one cometh unto the Father, but by me." A person can only live life to the fullest by living in Christ. What your friend is doing is buying a one-way ticket to hell. Life on earth is intended to be a beginning and not an end in itself. Your friend has a purpose in life and that purpose is serving God through serving others. Instead, she is serving only herself, which is destruction. She thinks that she is happy, but one day the devil will pull the rug out from under her and all the pain and misery will reveal itself.

Most people dont want religion shoved in their faces. If your friend truly cared about where her soul would be in the afterlife she would get herself right with your god right? WRONG! She has the right to do as she pleases. Allow her that. Stop being a stick in the mud and except her for who she is. If you can't. Then stop talking about her life and the way she does things. Move on with your life and let her live hers.

No it's not any of your business... however.
Living life to it's fullest doesn't mean abusing and hurting yourself. If you do only get to live once, and you cherish it enough to want to do the things you like.... why not extend it by healthier living. The more life you have, the more life you have to enjoy.

If she thinks this is the only life, then she is almost certainly not a christian. If that is the case qutoing scripture is meaningless.
As a friend why don't you tell her why you are concerned (keep the whole god and religion thing out of it)? After that, realize that you have no right to control her life.

To some people that is living life to its fullest. It's her life, if she wants to party hard, that's her business, you shouldn't judge her. Life is short and you do have to enjoy it while you can. People get enjoyment from different things.

You need to back off and let your friend do whatever she wants. If she wants to run around and drink, and smoke, and do everything under the sun then that is something that she wants to you. Don't step into something that isn't any of your business.
