Have you tried the little bullseyes that you put in the toilet? They're supposed to help because the little guys try to shoot them. And they're flushable so it won't clog your toilet.

It is a really hard thing to do and I know that there are some people out there that have their boy trained when they are 2 but my son is 3 and I am just getting him interested in the potty. I have been giving him incentives if he does go. If the boy goes in the potty then you give him a cookie or a candy or something. I have found that has been working quite well for me.

Boys are harder to potty train than girls. My doc told me it was because they stand and sit instead of just sit. :) I don't know if this is true. But I do know that both of my boys were potty trained at about 2.5 years. I tried at age 2 and they were just not ready. I waited another 6 months and it was easy. Bought a potty chair, let them investigate it (sit on it fully clothed etc). They caught on easily. Its hard at age 2 to even know when it is time, let alone translate that into location. Good Luck!

I have a 7 year old boy and to potty train him was some much harder than my girls. To me there is no trick when they are ready you will know but keep trying, because it's very hard. You can try and make it fun an but Cheerios in the toilet and tell him to aim for them but just think of that he might always in his young age but stuff in the toilet. lol Good Luck

have him not wear diapers and have him wear his favorite caroon character underware. When he pees or poops on then let them know that they soiled their character and that they cannot wear in until he or she goes potty. Buy him a plastic size potty and sit him there. U can take him in when U are potting so he can see that is normal. Make him tell U when he needs to go potty so you can take his diaper off and potty. hope this helps.

Well my sister, mother and I taught her 2 year old to go to the pottie. Each time he went we would be clapping with big grins and saying yeah-whoo good job you went to the pottie all by your self what a big boy you are alright. And he felt like he was doing something good so he continued and we would clap and praise him each time, and eventually he started using it by himself.
