You're actually best not eating or drinking anything besides water before your concert - reason is that with food esp., you may be suceptable to burping while singing. There are a few things that are advisable:

don't take any of these things before a concert, they'll dry you out
- booze
- antihistamines
- losenge
- chocolate
- coffee/tea
- nuts

Also, lactose is a bad idea because it'll create too much mucuous and prevent efficient vocal production. If you need tea or something hot to sooth your throat - think of lemon/hot water/honey rather than tea, or take a herbal tea.

For me, I usually eat a small something about 3-4 hours before concert time, then just drink water, and after the show I go out for some food and after-partying. That's probably the best way to go.
