My fiance has scalp psoriasis, which gets pretty bad sometimes. Nothing has seemed to work. Kari Dee on Top Model kept talking about how she used to have some sort of psoriasis, did it just go away? What are the treatments for psoriasis that actually WORK and don't stop working? He's tried so many shampoos (denorex, t gel, prescription, etc.) and nothing has worked long term, it just comes back. Are there pills? Diet changes? Anything???

Often times skin conditions can be because of an imbalance of "good" and "bad" bacteria in the intestines and colon. I suggest trying all natural Optiflora which is a two-product system that includes Probiotic (Bifidus & Acidophilus...microflora) + Prebiotic (FOS...food source for microflora). Guaranteed delivery of 500 million microflora to intestines.

Also, GLA Complex is very important for all skin disorders.

Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions or if interested in the website where available.

Psoriasis is a disease that takes place when the body’s immune system mistakenly believes healthy skin cells to be enemy cells and starts to produce many more new cells to replace these cells. This is the reason why there is no cure for psoriasis and medications applied to treat psoriasis are only able to remove the symptoms temporarily. Don't go the "cream route", it's only just a waste of time and money. Been there Done that!

You need to read "Psoriasis Free For Life" by Katy Wilson if you want to cure your psoriasis for good. Available online also @ http://www.psoriasisforeverfree.com It's a book that shows you how to cure psoriasis naturally in a few days. I cured my psoriasis permanently in 6 days after reading this book. Good luck!

My doctor prescribed me a cream called Clobestemerol. It works pretty well. I have psoriasis on my hands and feet, but the medication got rid of it pretty fast. I still have occasional breakouts, but the cream gets rid of it fast. In areas where I kept using it continuously, I haven't had any further breakouts. Hope this helps some.

currently there is on cure. I don't think there are many if any cures for autoimmune disorders.

increasing the intake of omega 3 fatty acids can help. also check out Borage Oil, it is high in GLA (another fatty acid) which also may help.

topically application of hydrocortisone, 10% I think may help also.
