How much does it hurt in relation to other piercings?
I have 9 ear piercings, 1 eyebrow piercing and a small tattoo on my thy.

if you had a tattoo and eyebrow piercing you can handle the lip. I myself have 2 tattoo did not hurt but what hurt me was my nose stud it felt like getting hit in the face with a basketball.

I had the middle of my bottom lip pierced twice...and yeah its going to hurt more than an ear or (maybe) eyebrow. For me it was mainly pressure that I felt and like 15 minutes afterward I was feeling nauseas. But that was my experience...

I didnt think it hurt that much at all. But it depends on different people. If you have thicker lips it might hurt a little more. But make sure you go to a good piercer, if they pierce it in a bad spot on your lip, the ring or barbell can damage your teeth and gums. I got the monroe piercing (upper lip) and I didnt think it hurt at all.

Hurts less than an ear cartilage piercing and to me, reminds me of biting my lip.
Its really not that bad and you know piercings are done and over with quickly.
The part that sucks is that for some people their lip swells and if they bite on it or the jewelry its painful, but you just have to be careful until you adjust to the piercing.

Honestly i do not think it hurts at all i am 14 and i have my ears pierced and my tongue and belly i had my eye done but it ripped out i got my lip pierced but i had to take it out cuz the dentist said it messes up your gums but it doesnt hurt!!

my friend got her toungue pierced and siad it didn't hurt until the next day when she tried to eat....if most of your 9 piercings are in your ears the lip will prolly hurt more b/c it's more sensitive and you'll end up touching it more like when you eat and talk... I guess it depends on your pain tolerance.... GL

how bad does a tattoo hurt? I have always wanted one..but chicken.. the eyebrow must have hurt...
