It can be bought in the UK. Like a number of other internationally well-known brands though, it tends to focus on the international market. It's a blend, and not an amazing blend (although my Grandfather swore by it and I don't mind it). With Scotland so close, there are far better blends and of course the single malts readily available - for example, try the cheaper blend Black Bottle for a better whisky - and so it doesn't get much play over here.

You could contact the distributor for a local supplier:
MAXXIUM UK LTD
MAXXIUM HOUSE
CASTLE BUSINESS PARK
STIRLING
FK9 4RT
+44 1786 430500

Or you could check the website:

I think it can be found at larger Sainsburys stores if that helps.

Cutty Sark is usually available in the cheaper Off-Licences or the shelves of smaller supermarkets.

Incidentally, Scotch (blend or malt) is always WHISKY, without an "e".
The stuff made anywhere else in the world is Whiskey.

Cutty Sark is ok, but I have a hard time believing there isn't something a whole lot better for the same price in the UK. You're attached to Scotland for crying out loud. Chivas?

I agree with you, as with Johnnie Walker black label, it is entirely shipped off for export. One or two specialist shops sell it, but not near me. Last time I saw it on sale was at the duty free at Gatwick.

Fettercairn is a good one too. Very pleasant and I'm not a whisky drinker. A wee dram is ok for me though.

If you were legit and in the UK you would spell "whisky" correctly.
