Its called double standards.
Or possibly that Jesus requires Faith and Belief in the Bible and according to it, Nessie couldn't exist.
That's why I will never become religious!

People have been looking for yeti, Bigfoot and the Loch Ness monster for using a wide variety of methods and found nothing that stands up to serious scrutiny.
Jesus lived about 2000 years ago, so finding Bible-independant proof is rather difficult. Mark's gospel (the earliest one) was written between 68–73 AD, Jesus died around 36/37 AD. So it was written about about 40 years after Jesus died, some of the eyewitnesses would have still been alive, so it's likely to be a reasonably accurate account.

Jesus is healing people today, by the laying on of hands. Some are gifted special with the gift of healing. Benny Hinn for example.
Also, I know people who were healed of cancer, etc. So it isn't a question as if Jesus can heal? It is a question if someone will receive the healing the Lord provides.
He sent His Word and healed us of all our diseases.

I know all the wonderful things Jesus did, and still does.I also know my mother now deceased healed through Jesus by the laying on of hands. I do not doubt Nessie,I just do not think a old lake creature means so much.

I believe in Jesus as a healer. I also believe in many animals that are part of cryptozoology like the yeti, bigfood, mokele-memembe, Nessie, etc...
I believe there is empirical evidence for both.

Lochness was proven to be a hoax and there is not proof for a Yeti. Proof of Jesus? Well, maybe the hundreds of people who witnessed what he did. Unfortunately they didn't possess the technology to catch it all on tape back then so they recorded his miracles into a book called the BIBLE!
How you compare Christ's miracles to fabled monsters is beyond my comprehension.
