6-8 small meals spread out through the day. Stay away from simple sugars and anything else that will cause insulin spikes. Do an internet search for GI Index and find out which foods have a low gi. Those are the ones you should consume.

I stand by Weight Watchers 100%. I lost close to 35 lbs. and have kept it off for close to 3 years now. WW is not a diet, but a change in lifestyle. I now know what foods are best for me, and I limit portion size. I eat whatever I wish, but know that I must negotiate the banana walnut bread I ate this morning with either exercise and a light dinner or just veggies. I've learned to appreciate veggies and other low-cal snacks. Diets don't work in the long run. The key is to change your eating habits. I dare you!

Weight Watchers is best. It will not only help you lose weight, it helps you to change your eating habits for the long term. I'm not on it anymore, but much of the stuff I learned has stayed with me and still effects my choices.
