Well, it's the symptom/manifestation of a problem.
If we are ever going to solve it, we've got to look out very long term.

Jesus came to destroy man made religion his whole ministry was to show up the stuipidities associated with of man religion, rituals and money making schemes.

When he fed 5000 then 7000 he didnt care what religion people belonged they were hungry, when he healed the blind man even on the Sabbath (Which he did on purpose to show up the reigious at the time) he didnt care what religion he even told the leper he healed to go and make the appropriate burnt offering commanded by moses so the healed man wouldnt be troubled by the religious people.

Real and perfect religion in a sense is unseen and is how an individual reponds to his fellow man and (if he believes) God.

If there is a God then he is a God of all and every individual and creature can have his or her own relationship with the creator.

I sometimes look into the eyes of animals and can see somthing pure and honest in them. The problem with man made religion is men (And Wemen) interpret scriptures then develop rituals and seek out converts to molster numbers. Its all about impression bigness and power.

Religion in a sense is a great evil but every man and women needs to make their own way in life and in a sense develop their own type of religion not impose it on others.

Jesus said "A new comandment I give unto you that you love one another as I have loved you" he didnt say that you need to also obey this ritual and that sabbath etc. WHen something is new the old is thrown away and that includes I believe the original 10 commandments. Paul said the truth is now written on our hearts which in a sense it is as all of us know even unbelievers that stealing and destiring another persons possessions including their wife isn't right.

If there is a heaven (which I believe there is) who knows whom we will find there mabey the most unlikely people that you would have never dreamed of. The grubby gardener down the road the odd neighbour that helped start you car once when you needed some leads.

I believe heaven is filled with the quiet achiver the one who doesnt boast or is loud or shows how great they are, but that secret quiet soul who helps someone out of a jam or even is a friend when there is noone to be a friend.

The problem with religion is that it can never be solved untill it first stops with the individual first then it can spread one to another but in the spirit of meekness kindness and Love.

Religion is a problem that wont be solved until dooms day. Personally, I'm counting on it. Afterwards, in another lifetime, hopefully religious memories will have all been eliminated from the harddrive of humanities computer and maybe, MAYBE, we can evolve in an earth free from the stench of unwanted, unnecessary and unsolicited religious dogma, the key part of the word being DOG!

Religion is a major reason why there is so much conflict in the world today. Take for example today, in my religion class my teacher got really worked up because someone asked"If you think the DaVinchi Code was all just made up, then what makes you think that the bible is all just lies". And my teacher was shouting saying that the bible is not lies and that we should all just believe it. This caused a massive arguement in the class. This is just the effects religion had on one small class-but in the rest of the world its lead to millions of deaths. So i think we should all just become atheists. lol

Religion will soon be banned at the insistence of the United Nations.

False religion is the problem. Even Gandhi recognized that if all men followed the teachings of Jesus, there would be peace on earth.

this is an opened ended question.

My belief in God is a relationship, not a religion.
God helps me solve my problems all the time.

YES....it was always a problem, is a problem now, and will always be a problem. Superstition, and religion go hand in hand.
Like gosip and feeding off the misery of others. We will never be able to solve it.

No. Religion is a virtue to be explored. Never to be solved as it is not a problem.
