The price of the drinks, lol. A lot of lounges have more comfortable furniture, maybe live piano playing, more relaxed atmosphere. Bars normally are more casual, louder, more rowdy clientele, pool tables, dart boards, juke boxes, etc.......

I agree with Froggi. Usually lounges are more of a Sit down type place, hence the name Lounge from lounging around. Bar is usually standing around and drinking beer and some TVs going!!

A bar is a place that you go just to drink alcohol. A lounge is a place to go to drink and eat. They usually has a nice atmosphere (dim lights, comfortable furniture, etc.) and often times has music for listening/dancing.

A LOUNGE IS MORE LAID BACK PEOPLE NOT AS MANY YOUNG HOODLUMS AS YOU WOULD SEE IN THE CLUB THE CLUB IS WAY MORE HIP YOU COULD ACTUALLY GO ON A DATE AT A LOUNGE DON'T TRY IT AT A CLUB
