I saw a doctor who could find nothing wrong. He sent me to a neurologist who performed some tests. Again no results. I was scanned for blood clots that might be preventing good circulation and once more no answers. My family witnessed these episodes. You could feel the cold coming off of me. Lasted about 5 minutes each time. No fever. No fatigue. This went on all summer. Only happened at home, luckily, usually in the evening while I was winding down from the days usual activities. I have had only a couple of episodes since last year but I am afraid that these attacks may strike while driving or something. The cold chills that accompanied these attacks would at times be so severe that I would shake uncontrollably. I would run to the bathroom so as to not scare my children. I have seen psychiatrists who have ruled out anxiety attacks. I considered possible water intoxication because I was drinking a lot of water while on a low sodium diet but my doctor says no. I'm a 34 year old male.

Perhaps you should see one of the two, endocronologist (hope I spelled that correctly) they test for blood conditions. Or maybe a heart specialist or vascular doctor, could be something with you circulation or blood.
