I agree with everyone else that it is not the way. As a matter of fact, that will damage your metabolism and make it harder for you to stay thin when you are older.
I also don't agree with any weight loss pills as suggested by another member. They can be dangerous as well. I knew a girl who was taking them and ended up with heart problems.
My daughter was over weight and she lost a lot by staying out of the house and away from food. She walks around the neighborhood and hangs out with friends.
There are a lot of things you can do to lose weight. If you drink soft drinks, regular or diet, giving those up will help. Trying walking more than usual. Don't eat after 7:30. And as others have said, try to keep junk food out of the house and replace with healthier options. Do it a little at a time so you don't feel too overwhelmed. Replace chips with light popcorn, you can eat more, it's healthier and more filling. Try to drink a glass of water every other drink to help you feel fuller and cut calories.
I know it's hard but you will get there, just do it the right way. You didn't gain the weight over night so don't expect to lose it over night and if you slip and eat something bad, don't punish yourself. It's just one slip.
Good luck.
Some good resources would be Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz and Bob Greene. I think they all have healthy ways

This years best diet plans can be found at DIETPLANSCIENCE.COM cost free. Does the word "diet and weight loss" immediately make you think of an unpleasant weight-loss regimen? If it did, you are probably not alone. For example, consider the use of the term "diet" in marketing food products—it usually describes foods low in calories, such as diet soda. But there is another meaning of this word. Diet can also refer to the food and drink a person consumes daily and the mental and physical circumstances connected to eating. The Merriam Webster Online Dictionary gives two definitions of nutrition: "the sum of the processes by which an animal or plant takes in and utilizes food" "the act or process of nourishing or being nourished" While both are correct, the second definition is more inclusive and suggests that food involves many different things, including love, satisfaction, and enjoyment. Nutrition involves more than simply eating a “good” diet—it is about nourishment on every level. It involves relationships with family, friends, nature (the environment), our bodies, our community, and the world. Choices about nourishment are very much linked to other human beings and other life forms on this planet, so healthy (and unhealthy) decisions have great impact. 13 year old lose weight.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Its an effective way of losing life though....

Please, please don't even think of becoming bulimic to lose weight. If you "can't stop yourself eating" then the only way to lose weight is making sure that you burn off more calories than you are eating. So, if you want to stuff your face with chocolate (I know I do!) run 10 miles to burn it off...simple system really, AND it has the benefits of not making you smell like vomit, not having your tooth enamel eaten away by stomach acid etc.

sweetie you will make your selk very ill doing this ,all you need to do is eat healthy foods and lots of it ,fruit and veg ,low fat things ,change sugar for sweetners ,lots of walking and lots of water ,,stay away from too much bread ,and fats like crisps and chips ,chocolate in moderation ,,,,but making yourself sick you will find after a while you will burn the skin off your throat and the veins in your body become thinner and you can end up in hospital ,,it puts preasure on your internal organs and can cause the stomack linning to tear,as my friend many years ago almost died doing this and it isnt worth it ,,your health will really suffer ,,do it properly ,exsersize ,eat healthy ,ask you mum and dad to help you ,,read books and learn what is good to eat or join a slimming class but dont make your self eat and then be sick ,,,,,

You sound crazy. The healthy way is to join a gym and dump all the junk food from your house. Go grocery shopping buy some veggies and fruits. For snacks go get yogurt or crackers. Start eating 1/2 of what you do now, head to the gym and you'll feel fantastic and see improvements along two weeks if you keep faithful to your new life style

Making yourself sick in order to lose weight is extremely unhealthy. You can damage your esophagus, teeth enamel, and give yourself a serious psychological disorder. Try eating smaller portions and not eating till you're stuffed.

Today western society is obsessed with skinny people. being skinny is not good if you have to take extraordinary measures to be skinny. This sounds as though you are asking for approval to develop an eating disorder, don't do it. Get help, go to your doctor, take up a hobby. Keep eating and don't be sick. People who are sick regularly are ill, don't do it.

About as effective as a chocolate frying pan!

Why do you want to lose weight? It is much better to eat sensibly and exercise to tone your body than make yourself look and feel ill!

Look after yourself - look after number one.
