You might have lost your faith, but God didn't lose you.

I lost my faith for 30 years, and now looking back during that time, I find many times in my life that God was watching over me. I would even feel the prompting of the Holy Spirit at times.

Salvation is a gift and God doesn't take His gift back. You are saved, and you are going to heaven, but you -- as well as everyone -- will be judged. Only God knows.

Don't do like I did. Don't wait 30 years. Do a simple thing. Get a modern translation of the Bible, and flip to Gospel of John. Then, do some reading in James. Those two books are filled with God's love.

You believed once. Something happened to make you fall back. I sure wish I could sit down and talk to you.

Just remember.

God didn't leave. He's still there.

He doesn't change.

He is faithful, even when you aren't.

The only book, that is the Bible says, if anyone who confesses that Jesus is Lord and Savior and believes He is the Son of God, he is already a child of God. He goes to heaven. It can be possible that half way you may renege the faith, if this is so, no fear you will go to heaven to face Him to explain why you fail to continue the faith. If your reasons are acceptable, you will live with him in heaven forever, otherwise, you know where you would go or end up.

If you mean your belief in God, the bible says that once you truly have it, it is impossible for anyone or anything to take it away. If you are saved and have asked Jesus Christ into your life, you are promised eternal life with Him. When we die we are going to live on as spirit. Our spirits will end up in heaven or hell. Being good to others doesn't make the final decision, but of course, we were made to be good and loving and not the other way around. So, as long as you are saved but still discouraged, yes, my friend you will go to heaven when you die. This is what I believe 100%, I've read it, heard it, studied it and have the spirit of God living in me to confirm it.

One of The True Christian Faith knows with absolute certainty that God is real... there is no loseing that Faith.... All who have come to God as He prescribes and received His free gift of Salvation will enter Heaven.... Only those who have received God's free gift of Salvation will enter heaven.... there are no works, such as being good to others, that will earn any one a way to Heaven.

If you have lost Faith, what is your reason for being "good to others"? Do you mean you have given up your religion? Heaven is being connected to God and experiencing that love and connection to all Life. After this connection, religion becomes meaningless but for some things that remind us of it.

You have not lost your faith if you are even asking this question. There is only one way to get to Heaven and it is by asking for forgiveness of your sins. If you do that, then you are forgiven and will go to Heaven.

All religions say good and bad, then there are rules on how to live.
Minus the rules, and a book and take what they all say, as a human being do good and if by some odd chance there is a heaven ...u;ll go in coz you didnt do good just to get in, you did it because you wanted to

If one has lost their faith, would that not mean that to that person, heaven does not exist? Surely if you don't believe in something, that something and all things that accompany it cease to exist?

Interesting Question, I don't know the answer I'm afraid.

Jesus said that faith the size of a mustard grain is enough. (Mat 17:20) It's not how much faith we have that matters, but WHO that faith is placed in! If we can muster up enough faith to just trust Jesus to save us, not trusting in our good works, or in what we believe, but in Jesus only, then we shall be saved.

Have you ever considered that God might have brought you to this low ebb to STOP you trusting in other things for your salvation; to empty you of any pride? If so, then rejoice! Paul said, "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." (Phil 1:6) By all means continue to do good to others, and may the Lord himself do good to you so that your faith will grow. Remember the man who was told by Jesus, "If you can believe, all things are possible..." and the man cried out, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" And his child was healed. (Mark 9:14-29) God will help your unbelief - just ask him!

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

If you lost your faith in God, that means that you rejected Him and have turned your back on Him, and He shall do the same to you, and you will not have a place in heaven.

Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

God instructs us to live by faith in Him. I do. Praise the Lord!
