If he leaves he will most likely go to Childress.

Dale Jr already owns his own team, JR Motorsports. Theresa is not stupid, no matter what you read or hear. DEI is nothing without an Earnhardt behind the wheel. Rumor mill has Dale taking on more responsibility at DEI, Kerry Earnhardt is becoming more involved in testing and whatever else they want him to do, and Kerry's son is on the driver development program, so the future of DEI is being mapped out. If nothing worked out and Dale Jr did leave DEI, how long do you think it would take for the doors to be shut? Dale Jr is a magnet for sponsorship dollars. WIthout him there, DEI has nothing to attract new sponsors. Nothing against Martin Truex, but he hasn't exactly set the world on fire in a Cup car, yet. If you were a hot prospect in racing, would you want to drive for DEI right now? They are not exactly on the level of Hendrick, Roush, or RCR, but they are working on it.

OK...here's my two-cents.

1. Dale Jr MUST leave DEI.
2. Secure a great ride from RCR
3. Win a few championships
4. Leave his own mark on Nascar

In doing so...this will cause DEI's value to drop, at which time Miss T will have to sell DEI for pennies on the dollar...and here comes JR to buy it up!

Dale...you, Budweiser, and the #3 at RCR...think about it!

Well I know that he has JR Motorsports which is his Busch racing team but he might just go and do what Robby Gordon did and start his cup team with his own team.

If Theresa keeps this mess up she might not leave him any choice but to leave and there are a lot of teams who will sign Dale Jr up in a heartbeat. Kevin Harvick has already expressed interest in having Dale Jr as a teammate. Plus...Joe Gibbs has a spot open as they only have 3 drivers and the limit in Nascar is to have 4 drivers! He might just go over to Joe Gibbs and become teammates with Denny Hamlin and Tony Stewart.

All Dale Jr wants is to own part of DEI. Dale Sr started DEI so all of his children could have part of Nascar.

If Jr. leaves, blame Teresa, she is cold as ice. I think Jr. will do much better when she is out of the picture. I saw in an interview that Jr. wants his own team. I for one pray he has a better season this year. Yeah, I think he'll leave DEI. It would be great if he and his siblings bought Teresa out. Let him run with the #3, after all, it's his choice, he wants to.

He owns a Busch team. But he doesn't have the capitol and backing to start a Cup team, anytime soon. He wants half of DEI, right now. If Theresa doesn't let him have it, he will most likely end up at RCR.

I read the other day that he appreciates the opportunity that his step mom has given him. In December of 06 he was quoted as saying that he wants to own DEI some day. If you remember Teresa's business acumen leads me to believe she's running her life as she ran Dale Sr., with a hot branding iron on all four sides. She's looking at all angles to make another buck. She's a business woman first, with a heart of Johnny Ringo, the killer in the movie Tombstone. Doc. Holiday said: Johnny had a heart that hadn't been born yet. A few minutes later Doc. dropped him with a bullet in his chest.

Would not win for a long time. JR motor-sports is a new team, it needs to stay in the Busch series for a while to develop its team. A name (Earnhardt) does not solve all of the problems, in some cases might even make things worse. Too much pressure on him right now, they need to leave him alone.

I heard that Jr. is trying to became a co-owner of DEI in 2007.

I think Jr. will be better off without his stepmother in the way. so yeah i think he should. But again i would miss going for number 8 but i can deal. wonder what to do with all the collectibles that i have with number 8 on it? Maybe i should just save them and maybe they will have value on them later on in the future?
just maybe......

I think he will leave DEI and go to his old buddy Mikey Waltrip and beg Toyota for a job!!!!!! That's where he belongs.
