I'm just curious how many of you follow your faith as strictly as possible, and how many look to other faiths for inspiration and supplement their own faith with the knowledge that these other faiths provide. Why or why not?

For me, I tend to mix and match (though predominantly I follow Hindu practice), each faith has pearls of wisdom, you just have to know where to look. :)

it is alright to miss the point with religion and spiritual matters, including the search for inner light and trust in personal undertakes. The oniric reason in betrayal of purity and form does entrust the individual into the common politeness and education. Oblivious to change or space, the true selfteacher does evolve and grasp the finer print in order to overcome and succeed where others can not.
It is alright to pardon one´s time for a change or more global appeal on murder and disdain. Humor apart, it is proper and only attainable to digress and mount somewhere else, for a living.
Bye.

No, I don't.
I am a Christian, and I adhere to the Word in the Bible, the teachings of our Lord, and the promptings of the Holy Spirit, which dwells inside me.

It sustains me, it fulfills me and gives me peace and joy unsurmountable. He's all I need. I don't need anything else, because He fills me.

If you find yourself searching for the Truth outside of your faith, that's because you feel something is missing or lacking in your own faith.

To have faith is to trust. Sounds like you don't trust Hinduism. You can't just pick and choose what to have faith in just because it suits you.

That's not faith. I don't know what you would call it, but it's not faith. Faith is accepting.

You cannot create a God to your own suiting.

God is God. He created you. It's His way we must learn.

No, I follow a Reconstructionalist Pagan religion. And while I do believe various religions have their merits and admirable attributes, I am strongly against mixing and matching my beliefs. Asatru is not an eclectic spiritual movement, for once you take it our of its original framework and start to add things from other religions you cease to have Asatru and begin to have some different entity entirely.

I am Christian and I think I'm sort of like you, in that I respect all religions and am willing to internalize those things which I believe to be good (although I none of these things are contrary to what I believe). You can find good and truth in all people/faiths.

I have only one faith and that is in God. Praise the Lord. My daily study of His Word keeps me from being destracted away from what God instructs me to be doing.

I make sure I put my Armor of the Lord through the daily reading of His word, and nothing in my day can penatrate that armor that is not righteous. Praise the Lord!

Absolutely. I believe God speaks in many different ways and that all religions have something to teach us.

No, I don't find a reason or a need to supplement my religious beliefs.
