not christian but 2 kings 2:23-24
23 From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Go on up, you baldhead!" they said. "Go on up, you baldhead!" 24 He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.

it cracks me up when i read. especially the KJV, it says "two she-bears"
lol

My favorite is Hebrews 12:2 because it is an encapsulating statement about the faith.
I also like Philippians 4:6-7 which I apply to my life a lot.

For me is Acts 16:31 "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. You and your household(family"
everytime i pray i quote this verse to God...i said Lord you promise that my family will get saved.i did apply in my life.I shared the Word of God first to my younger sister.then after one year my parents.I thank and praise God because before my father passed away he accepted Jesus into his life and i know that he is with the Lord.God is also using my mother in the church.my two sisters are also in the service of God.my eldest son is in the music ministry and he is one of the instrumentalist.
not only to my family but some of my relatives had been saved.Prayer is very powerful..i share the word of God also to all my friends and my boss. They have accepted Jesus as their Savior. We keep on trusting God....Every individual is very precious in the eyes of God.He love and cares us.He gave us life..

I have Two:

1) Isaiah 55:11 "So shall my WORD be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

2) Jeremiah 29:11 - 14 "For I know the thoughts that I think tward you, saith The LORD, thoughts of peice and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon Me and ye shall go and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me and find Me when ye shall search for Me with all your heart And I will be found of you saieth The LORD........."

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Yes I have applied this to my life because I have accepted Jesus as my personal Savior. Praise the Lord! This is the only way to get into God's kingdom, and Jesus freely shares this with anyone who is willing to accept it!

Well its not my absolute favorite but....

Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, "Who sees us? Who will know?" You turn things upside down, as if the potter were thought to be like the clay! Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, "He did not make me" Can the pot say of the potter, "He knows nothing"? Isaiah 29:15

I have to admit that I don`t get it right very much and I fail to live up to the Gospel values at times and so I find the Prodigal Son very consoling, knowing that my Heavenly Father welcomes me back time and time again, thank you God.
