Some do, some don't, and in many cases it will come down to the individual person. On one hand, skin color would be very much akin to one's preference for liking blondes. Some people will like blondes, but when they meet a red head that they just connect with, that matters more. Others may be unwilling to even look at the red head in the first place.
One the other hand, race can often mean cutural differences as well. It can have a large impact on how someone grows up and relates to those around them, and this is probably the bigger issue. This is where you have your racism and preconceived notions that go beyond just what one finds attractive. But even without that, it's also the point where two people might find there are hurdles to overcome if they are in a relationship. Of course, it's all about the individual, and for the right two people this will either be a non-issue or one that just doesn't matter.
For me personally? I have and would go out with black women, and have found some to be extremely attractive! Though there are also black women (just as there are white or asian or anything else) that I wouldn't consider dating for other reasons aside from skin color.

I don't know about you, I am a black woman who has white men come on to me all the time. It was hard for me to fathom at first because I didn't think I was what "they" would like....but to some I find it is a fantasy type thing. I dated a white guy who just couldn't stop telling people his girl was black.....until he got into a fight because they called him a N-lover. I had to explain to him that not all white men are open-minded. But men are men and they like what they like...black or otherwise.

I know a lot of people say its about personality but its also about how they look. I don't date black girls cuz i'm not into that kind of thing, I stick to my own race. It all depends on what your personal interest are. You want someone you like but also someone that you can take over to your parents place.

To each his own. If you like or love somebody and you claim that race doesn't matter then what do you care what others think, say or do? If you are willing to defend her honor and be there for her thru thick and thin then why ask others? It's none of their business.

Most people date whoever they want to. You go ahead and worry about race and all that crap while everyone else is falling in love and living happily ever after. You're going to be a lonely man/woman if you worry about little things like that.

Well, I'm a girl and have seen plenty of guys that date black girls. I guess it all depends on the guy and what he likes. I've also seen it vice versa.

It just doesn't do it for me. I guess that might make me a closet bigot or something. I have dated a mexican, a japanese and a gal from Turkey. Black just doesn't get an interest out of me.
Honest answer, so there is no point in thumbing me down.

Yes, if she is of good character. Skin colour is not a problem. It is the true colour of the girl thats matters, if you get what I means.
