Does anyone have their finger tattoo'd? I never see it and I really want mine done. I want my wedding ring finger to say the word 'Angel' on it. Can that be done? Am I being unrealistic here?

i don't have mine done but plenty of people have finger tattoos. they don't always hold up very good over time but the word angel would probably be doable. good luck.

You aren't asking too much and this can be done. However,most parlors won't do these types of tattoos and when they do will refuse for it to be in more than one color. Since you move your hands so much and it's impossible to have a tattoo on your finger not near a joint a tattoo such as the one you described, without proper care and an experienced artist, could be disastrous. I would go with finger it be seen more. It could been seen year round. The tattoos would only be seen in the summer. Plus I think most people's feet look nasty with hammer toes bunions & other issues people have with feet. I think both would probably be little painful since not much meet on fingers or toes unless you got what I call sausage fingers.

I've seen it and I think it's really cool. My husband and I have considered it because we both find rings to be a little uncomfortable. Get it small so when you have occasions where you would need to cover it up, you can just put a ring on top of it. Also, check your tatooist online to make sure the reputation is good.

I know of an actor who has the word "resist" tattooed on his left ring finger. If you really want it done anything is possible.

Yeah you can do that, but it would have to be a really small tattoo lol! You need to find a really good tattoo artist so they can make it just right. The letters would need to be very small.

I have a pink star on my middle finger. They told me that it would fade, but it will fade no matter how many times it is retouched. I now wish I hadn't done it because it will never look right.

yeah I know a chick that has all her fingers on her right hand tattoo'd. It says "love" so it's possible.

it can be done. my friend literally got her wedding ring tattooed on. which kind of sucks if you think about it because shes no longer with that person.

I think the letters would have to be so small you couldn't read them. My aunt has a finger tatt but she keeps it covered with rings now.
