I lived with my parents from January to august but got married on august 2nd would my parents or my husband claim me as a dependent?

I do still qualify as a dependent I'm 17 and i have on source of income and according to everything Ive read trying to find out the answer to this question I'm still considered a depent

Neither.

You and your husband may file a joint return and will get the best tax treatment if you do. But he's not claiming you as a dependent when you file a joint return.

Ask your parents if they are planning on claiming you, if they say no, file a joint return with your husband.

LOL! No one can "claim" you. Your options are to either file jointly with your husband or file single, but married.
