Obviously not. :)

It's not a problem because people who don't believe in God behave, generally, better than people who do believe in God. That doesn't necessarily mean that disbelief causes good behavior, but it negates the opposite.

I don't quite know what you mean by "is it a problem," but I'll try to answer from my own personal beliefs. I'm assuming you are talking about what happens after death, so I'll take that track, too.

Belief in God is a good thing, something that I often find to be central to a person's moral structure. But when I say "God," I am referring to the Creator of All. Some people believe in the Creator but do not follow Judaism, Christianity, or Islam. All of these people pretty much have a moral structure based on a [religious] spirituality. These people usually have a concept and belief about what happens after death.

Some people simply cannot comprehend the possibility of a creating diety, but believe in "goodness." Then there are people who just cannot comprehend anything greater than basic humanity. Some of them think that once we die, then there is nothing else.

I believe in life after death, that our souls exist on a level that we cannot possibly comprehend in our current coporeal state and that God will "deal with us" after we die. So belief in God obvious is good thing, because these people have most likely tried to live a life pleasing to God. What about those who don't believe? I don't think God would completely cast them aside - at that point, what that person has done with his or her life and HOW that life was lived will be as telling as another person's belief.

So is not believing in God a problem? No, but from the way I see things, you had better have a very good reason not to believe and a strong internal compass to help you live a good life.

I find no problem in someone not believing in God. Another persons belief is no ones business but their own. Of course when one asks an open question on a forum like this every one has the right to answer it. I find Nonbelievers or Atheists are morally just as responsible as any Religion. Some are good people some are butt holes in all walks of life.

Do I think that it's a problem if someone does not believe in God?
no. because:
I don't believe in God. But I do have faith and trust. Is it a problem to me? as far as I know, no problem. Is it to you?

This was the question:

Do you think that it's a problem if someone does not believe in God?
Why or why not?
Thanks.

This was the answer...

I believe its okay for someone not to believe in God because:----
I do not believe its okay for someone not to believe in God because:----

If you had to run down someone else's beliefs to make your point then you were not honest in answering the question.

If you told them they are going to hell...then Christian, you just gave valid support to other beliefs. The same as if you had preached at them. You made ever religious slur and put down on here true.

If you told those who believe in God that they are stupid, dumb, believe is something that does not exist...then you negated every respectable person who does not believe in God and comes here to answer questions.

If this is an example of respect, tolerance, good behavior, or Christian love, then ALL of us failed miserably, whether we are Christian or Atheists (which really, is all that its about right???)

I don't think it's a problem at all. People can believe whatever they want to believe. If it gives someone comfort to believe in God, let them. If someone else chooses not to believe in God, good for them. I would never impose my belief system on someone else.

I believe that there is no problem, but I think that somehow you must have hope, because the hope has played the role of the people mas successful to have greatness, for it the problem is not if to believe, but since do you believe in anything.

It's not a problem as long as you still believe in some power that is bigger than yourself. If you don't believe that you reap what you sew, then what's your motivation to treat others with respect?

I don't believe in a God sitting and making specific decisions about each and every person's life, but I do believe that things come full circle. If you are dishonest, it will come back to bite you in the end.

no problem. what you believe will change as you gain knowledge and experience. You might never believe in any god. There is no reason for this ever to be a problem,

No, why would it be?

The only people that will claim it is a problem are the ones that believe in a God that roasts people. They think there's is the only way to believe and if you are an Atheist or practice a different religion that you will burn in hell.

I dont think its a "problem". It doesnt hurt anyone, or make someone less or more superior. It doesnt make you smarter or "stupider" (lol, I know thats not a word).

I do however, because of my relationship with God, want all to accept Jesus. I know it seems so out of this world, but I dont say these things because I want to annoy anyone, its simply because I feel that I know the truth, and what I feel I know is very powerful. I wish that everyone could expirience the love of God and eventually go to heaven.

I hope I explained that without being too "bible" on you.

Good Luck with everything you do!
