The Trail of Tears is when the Cherokee, and other tribes from around that region (Georgia, Tennessee, the Carolinas, etc), were forced to relocate to other parts of the Western US (mainly Oklahoma). The forced relocation was ordered by the US President Andrew Jackson, and killed THOUSANDS of beautiful native people. =(

Oh by the way, why does everyone keep claiming the "English" did it to them? It was the US government who did.

When the english forced the Native Americans out of their land. They were forced to walk so many miles they they had many deaths on the way. This walk basically killed off a good portion of Natives.
