While it may be true that there is much we do not understand in our universe, there is much that we have figured out. This has been going on for as long as we have kept records. And so far NONE of our discoveries has pointed towards the supernatural. A thousand years ago things like disease, lightning, the sun, and various other natural phenomena were attributed to god(s). Over time we have learned that almost everything we have attributed to some higher power is in no way supernatural. So now we find ourselves with still more unknown. Yet instead of going with the odds and even considering these things may just be a manifestation of a 'random' universe, many of us still say "God(s) must have done it."
So my question is:
Why when so many of these supernatural occurrences have proven to be blatantly natural, do you (fundies) still follow this archaic train of thought? Why is it seemingly unacceptable to even consider that the universe is not being controlled, but rather 'just happens

dog sneeze: I am not a liberal, but not a rightee either. I am right in the middle. That is the only way you can accept the good ideas from both sides and discard the rest.
