color sofa to purchase. The curtains and wallpaper are a country maroon check, the carpet is beige, and I have a large center rug with maroon, gray, and beige in it. I was thinking a dark color, but I'm just not that good with color schemes.

Neutral is preferred for large furniture items, preferably without a pattern. What about the gray or beige you mentioned? You can always add extra color with throw pillows or lap blankets. Bet it is very attractive!

we've blinds or verticals on all of our homestead windows (nicely, and slightly a fabric "swag" over my blinds). yet, we used to have curtains/drapes on maximum of our homestead windows. And no, the curtains did not tournament the carpet. The curtains have been form of a colorless off-white or beige coloration. We went by way of numerous diverse carpeting colours interior the homestead in the course of the time we had curtains, so needless to say coloration matching wasn't a controversy! *snort* I say, bypass with what you think of seems attractive and surprisingly, despite if indoors designers or magazines inform you in any different case!
