like who decided that a chair was gonna be called a chair or a table was gonna eb called a table etc.

Yours is one of the most interesting questions I've seen today. Yes, our language comes from English, which is also comprised of other languages, and yes, a lot of words are latin based but, I don't know where all of them came from. Like what was the first word spoken and why was it spoken like that? Sorry I don't know but, I would love to.

our language comes from england and england kept getting invaded by a lot of other countries so a lot of languages make up the english language
