Try Cold MD and Germ Defense. Then take Zinc Cough Drops. They cost more, but are well worth it. You should also use a warm mist humidifer in your bedroom to help you sleep better at night. You can add some Vicks Vapor Mist to the water solution to really help clear up those lungs. Get well soon!

My advise to you is really something I hate to do... But gargle with warm salt water.

Also warm beverages, cough drops, and tylenol cold and sinus.

When you have a cold the best thing you can do is work at it, colds stay around for up to a week no matter what you do. A cold is a virus, just keep inside, eat healthy food, keep hydrated, take a nice bath, exercise a little bit, and eat something spicy (cilantro and peppers have more v C than oranges, kiwis, and other citric fruits).

You need to rest and save your energy, but a lil exercise may help you feel better. Watch something funny too, with a cold all you can do is wait it out the best you can.

First gargle with warm salt water. That will get the "clog" (mucus) out of your throat. Drink my liquids. That will help thin out the mucus so you can get it out easier. For coughing, go by some Delsym. It will stop your cough for 8-12 hours. So that when you do cough, it's productive. You'll get all that gunk up and out. If you find you have a lot of mucus, you may want to buy some Mucinex, too. That will help.

If you wanna get better, go to the doctor.

They may send you to the drug store for something, but they normally have a few other tricks under their sleeve. From the symptoms of what you're describing, you should go to the doctor as soon as possible. Depending on where you live some diseases are at their strongest peak.

Try the Theraflu powder that you drink hot, it works great. You make it like instant coffee, boil water and stir, add some honey to make it taste a little better.

You need something to thin the mucous in your throat and sinuses, like Mucinex.
