THC detectability in urine by standard testing:
Light smoker or single use - up to 3 days
Moderate use (4 x week) - 4 - 5 days
Heavy use (daily) - 10 days
Chronic heavy use - 20 - 28 days (some tests up to 36 days)
Despite the claims that people make about using certain products to "flush" out THC, they just don't work. The reason for people "passing" urine tests is this, the level of THC in their urine is below the level of detectability. The lower the level, the greater chance of having a positive urine; the higher the level, you have a lower chance of getting caught.
Most urine testing today has a preliminary cutoff of 50ng/ml. Urines that are positive are tested a second time with a more accurate test, usually 15ng/ml.
The three most common ways to alter urine is by adulteration, substitution and dilution. Labs have become very sophisticated and are aware of the many ways that people try to beat urine tests. They call easily tell if urine is diluted by drinking lots of water by checking for a muscle protein called creatinine. If the creatnine levels are too low, they know the urine is dilute. Taking vitaimin B2 will color urine yellow, but it won't add any creatnine and therefore you'd still get caught.
THC is fat soluble, and it gets stored in your fat cells. Cleaning it out of your lipid tissue is very difficult. Many herbal products claim to clean out your system, yet they do nothing to remove THC byproducts from fat cells. A study was done in Germany in 1993 on 50 of the most common herbs used by people trying to pass the test. All 50 herbs failed to cause a negative. Unfortunately, this rumor will not die. Goldenseal (plant) is useless; yet it's the most common thing for people to use.
THC in marijuana is rapidly absorbed by fatty tissues in various organs. Generally, traces (metabolites) of THC can be detected by standard urine testing methods several days after a smoking session. However, in chronic heavy users, traces can sometimes be detected for weeks after they have stopped using marijuana.
Bottom line, time is the key.
Hope this helps.

Depends on your metabolism. If it's high you should be alright after two weeks, especially if you're not a regular smoker. Keep drinking water. It can stay in your system for up to a month. Most employers will allow a certain amount in your system before they decide not to hire you, unless its a highly sensitive position, like a gov't job.
I've passed tests before after 5 days just by drinking a ton of water. I also used to smoke a whole lot. I quit since I got a good job.
I have seen home drug testing kits at drug stores. Maybe you could buy one of those.
