It does sound like dry skin. There is a supplement that contains fatty acids like omega 3 that you can mix in his food that will help. Ask someone at your local pet store. Also, make sure to feed him a quality cat food to help keep his coat healthy.

Sounds like he has dry skin. Because its winter and the air is so dry his skin is probably really drying out. I think that you can buy conditioner for your cat at Walmart or a pets store. If not get a really mild conditioner with no scent thats normally for human hair and try it out. If all else fails call the veterinarian and see what they suggest! Good Luck!

She is maturing. We had a cat (from a pal) and while the cat became a sprint one she became all black yet now she is 10 years previous and has white under her legs (like her armpits) her chect and above her eyes like her eyebrows. I had rescued a sprint one tan tabby (5 weeks previous and he's now a dismal mocha/brown shade (he's 6 years previous.)

Sounds like dry skin. Try oatmeal shampoo or take him to the vet.

It probably is dandruff, but just to be sure ask a vet. And to get rid of it, you need dandruff shampoo.

sounds like dry skin to me, my cats have it all the time, I bath them in a conditioner for cats to moisten their skin but don't bath them to much, that causes dry skin as well

sounds like he has dry skin. try not to bathe him, it will only dry him out more. i would try giving him cod oil in his food. if you mix it in, then he probably won't be able to tell. but this will help with his skin and his coat will be super-shiny!
